Objective:
Design the cover art for a podcast aimed at discussing and navigating the experiences of young individuals (primarily women) going through the challenges of their 20s.
The client was looking for something that communicated the honest, raw, and overall theme of growth in the content of their podcast. I chose to do an illustration with rough edges with some of the color even crossing the confines of the line work to visualize their dream. The imagery of the nude woman with the many different flowers and plants emerging from her head represent the honest and raw nature of the podcast and the various shapes and forms of growth we all go through in our 20s.
The chosen colors and style were reminiscent of the client's taste and a reflection of their personality. This was important to the client as their podcast centres around helping others by opening up about their own experiences as a young woman.
